Performs supervisory duties involving progressively responsible experience with the coordination of crews engaged in the water and wastewater divisions. Schedule, plan, direct and assist the activities of work crews engaged in the water and waste water divisions. Responsible for supervising and organizing the work of and assuring the technical correctness of functions performed by other Foreman, Equipment Operators, semi-skilled and unskilled laborers within the division Establish policies, methods and procedures to be followed by work crews Investigates citizen complaints and takes or recommends appropriate action Maintains a variety of operational records Monitors equipment utilization and maintenance, recommends replacements and may participate in the preparation of specifications for and the acquisition of equipment May requisition, purchase and/or maintain supplies Ability to operate all equipment in water and sewer divisions, including backhoes, track hoes, bulldozer, dump trucks, frontend loaders, and flush vac equipment

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
