Water & Wastewater Utility Construction Supervisor Location:
Midland & Odessa, Texas Pay:
DOE About the Position IDIM Construction is seeking an experienced Water & Wastewater Utility Construction Supervisor to oversee the installation of underground utility infrastructure throughout the Midland and Odessa area. The ideal candidate will possess both a TCEQ Class D (or higher) Water Operator License and a TCEQ Class D Wastewater Collection Operator License or Class I (or higher) and have hands-on experience with municipal utility construction. This position serves as the company's utility expert in the field, ensuring all water and wastewater installations meet project specifications, City standards, and TCEQ requirements. Responsibilities Supervise the installation of water distribution mains and appurtenances. Oversee installation of sanitary sewer mains, manholes, and service connections.
Coordinate installation of:
Water mains Fire hydrants Valves Water services Water meters Hot taps Sewer mains Sewer services Manholes Utility fittings and appurtenances Coordinate pressure testing, chlorination, flushing, and bacteriological testing. Coordinate sewer testing, inspections, and acceptance. Work closely with inspectors, engineers, utility owners, and project management. Ensure all work complies with City of Midland, City of Odessa, TCEQ, and project specifications. Train and mentor utility crews while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Maintain accurate daily reports and utility installation records. Qualifications Required Valid TCEQ Class D (or higher) Water Operator License. Valid TCEQ Class D Wastewater Collection Operator License or Class I (or higher). Experience installing underground water and sewer utilities. Ability to read construction plans and utility profiles. Knowledge of utility testing and inspection procedures. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Experience with City of Midland and City of Odessa utility standards.
