ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Work with our licensed wastewater and water operator to learn tasks outlined below. Record operational data, or meter and gauge readings on specified forms. Collect and test water and sewage samples, using test equipment and color analysis standards. Inspect equipment or monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges to determine load requirements and detect malfunctions. Maintain, repair, and lubricate equipment using hand or power tools.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license. High school level math and science. Ability to work independently. Ability to work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions. Ability to work indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions. Ability to lift or move up to 50#s with or without an accommodation. Effective and timely communication with co-workers, external customers, and the public. Coordinate with others to accomplish work activities. Responsible for work outcomes and results. Responsible for the health and safety of others. Wear common protective or safety equipment as necessary.
