This position will oversee the sanitation team and ensure the plant consistently meets high standards for food safety, cleanliness, regulatory compliance, and GMPs. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the plant sanitation department, including Sanitation Leads and Sanitors Oversee daily sanitation activities throughout production areas, warehouse, and plant grounds Develop, implement, and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety requirements, sanitation procedures, and regulatory standards Train employees on proper cleaning procedures, chemical usage/titration, food safety, and workplace safety Conduct and support internal and external sanitation inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed Review sanitation records and analyze data to identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities Partner with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance to improve sanitation effectiveness and plant performance Manage third-party sanitation contractors and chemical suppliers Maintain sanitation chemical, equipment, and supply inventory Support sanitation KPIs, reporting, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives Provide leadership, coaching, and development to build a strong, high-performing sanitation team Qualifications 3+ years of sanitation, food safety, or related experience within food manufacturing 3+ years of experience supervising or managing a sanitation team Strong knowledge of food manufacturing sanitation, GMPs, cleaning procedures, and regulatory requirements Proven leadership and team-development skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with
