DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently perform job duties pertaining to the operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and facilities in a manner consistent with MUB goals/guidance, and in full compliance with the law. This job requires the ability to work under supervision, work well with others, as well as independently. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and utilize maintenance skills. Be available for call outs working all shifts and weekends.
REQUIREMENTS
Must hold a minimum of Class I West Virginia Wastewater Operator License Must be familiar with the wastewater treatment process Ability to safely work with chemicals Possess basic math and computer skills Be a minimum of 18 years of age Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to safely use hand tools Ability to perform manual labor Hold a valid driver's license along with a good driving record - CDL preferred It is the policy of the Utility Board to provide equal employment opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
