Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, supporting various construction and manufacturing projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced welding techniques and fabrication processes in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Duties Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to ensure accurate production. Perform welding using various techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal, ductwork, and other metal materials using plasma cutters, power tools, and machining equipment. Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure proper fit and alignment. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to assemble fabricated parts accurately on construction sites or within fabrication shops. Maintain safety protocols at all times by adhering to OSHA standards and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Collaborate with team members on projects involving construction site experience, mechanical fabrication, metal materials handling, and assembly tasks. Experience Proven experience in metal fabrication or welding within a manufacturing or construction environment. Demonstrated proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Hands-on experience with welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes such as plasma cutting, soldering, machining, and assembly. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and the ability to work effectively on construction sites or in fabrication shops. Mechanical knowledge of tools such as calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and shop math skills. Ability to interpret technical specifications related to ductwork, structural steel fabrication, or other metal components required for manufacturing projects.
