Efficiently assembling, welding, and fitting metal components together
Maintain a safe and clean working environment Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred.
Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience performing MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals.
Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures.
Ability to accurately measure, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
Previous MIG welding experience preferred
Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions
Ability to measure accurately using a tape measure Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred.
Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial.
Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset.
Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a MIG Welder. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures. Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay
