• Join a dynamic and growing defense manufacturing team as a highly skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator. This role is centered on precision TIG welding, fit-up, fabrication, weld preparation, grinding, and finishing of structural and mechanical components used in defense-related products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing complex welds while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Responsibilities
• + Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.

+ Complete weld preparation, fit-up, tack welding, and assembly prior to final welding.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

+ Execute full penetration welds, multi-pass welds, and cosmetic welds to specification.

+ Grind, blend, clean, and finish weldments to quality standards.

+ Perform fabrication, layout, measuring, cutting, and assembly operations.

+ Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with quality requirements.

+ Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

+ Maintain defense manufacturing quality standards and documentation requirements.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiency efforts.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with Spray Arc MIG welding is highly desired. + Knowledge of GMAW, Flux Core, FCAW, and sheet metal fabrication. + Familiarity with structural fabrication and assembly. + Competence in grinding, finishing, and quality inspection.

• The pay range for this position is $25.

00 - $40.00/hr.
