In this role, you will be responsible for building precision fabricated assemblies and technical products that support demanding industries such as aviation, aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing. The ideal candidate will interpret detailed engineering drawings, perform high-quality welding and fabrication using various techniques, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that require technical expertise and attention to detail. Duties Perform MIG and TIG welding to assemble components with precision and adherence to tight tolerances. Fabricate metal parts and assemblies based on detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Interpret technical drawings accurately to guide fabrication and welding processes. Fit and assemble metal components, troubleshooting fit-up issues as needed to ensure proper alignment. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the fabrication process to verify compliance with specifications. Collaborate closely with the fabrication, machining, and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to fit-up, welding quality, or material handling during production. Skills Proficiency in MIG welding and TIG welding techniques. Strong experience in metal fabrication and working with various metal materials. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision assembly. Strong problem-solving skills related to fit-up, welding, and fabrication challenges. Good communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration. Knowledge of safety standards relevant to welding and fabrication environments.
