Experienced Welder/Fabricator

Job Description

Ozark, Alabama 36360 20.00 - 24.00 usd / hour Full time Anvil Industrial Group is looking to hire an Experienced Welder/Fabricator with experience with industrial and construction equipment. Must be able to weld, fabricate, read blueprints, have a mechanical aptitude, and have a good work ethic. Will be required to move, assemble, install, and dismantle machinery in the shop. Process material, fabricate, and weld in our fabrication facility.
Responsibilities will include:
Read and interpret fabrication and installation blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to Structural Steel and machinery Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation, and reassemble it at the appropriate time Move equipment to the appropriate site for repair or maintenance to avoid contamination or workplace safety hazards Create solid foundations for machines on-site and instruct other construction workers about safe and efficient interaction with machinery and equipment Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operations Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure client specifications are met. Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.)
Qualifications:
Extensive cutting, welding, and fabrication skills Knowledge of industrial machinery and processes Excellent natural problem-solving and analytical skills with mechanical aptitude Able to read and understand schematics and blueprints Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly Excellent attendance and the ability to work overtime. A valid Driver's License is highly preferred Must pass the

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour - Pay is based on DOE, passing the weld test, and passing the blueprint test!
