ZLA Solutions is looking to hire full-time Welders for a metal fabricator in Cropwell, AL . Job Description We are seeking talented welders whose chief responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring and operating welding machinery, and assessing welded components. To excel in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of welding machinery and electrical equipment. The successful candidate will also have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail. Job Schedule and Pay Monday-Friday, 5:00am-4:00pm $23.00-$25.00/hour (depending on experience and skills) Job Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural and mechanical crane components. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings. Fit and assemble metal parts using measuring tools, clamps, and fixtures. Inspect welds to ensure conformance to AWS and company quality standards. Operate fabrication tools such as saws, grinders, and torches. Follow all safety and quality control procedures. Collaborate with production and assembly teams to meet project deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Set up and align structural components prior to welding to ensure proper fit and function. Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing of metal surfaces to meet specifications. Conduct preventive maintenance on welding equipment and tools. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to troubleshoot fabrication issues. Assist in assembly and installation of crane components. Maintain accurate production and welding logs for quality tracking. Train or mentor junior welders in proper techniques and safety protocols.
