Job Description
Job description: Responsibilities Perform simple to highly complex fitting and welding assignments according to blueprints and layout specifications. Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to specifications Lay out, measure, position, align, and fit into place. Fabricate and weld various metal components according to blueprints and specifications. Gather materials and set up welding equipment. Perform multi-processing welding functions in all positions. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects. Perform general housekeeping/clean up in the assigned area. Perform all welding activities and operate all welding equipment and tooling safely. Meet production requirements and standards. Fabricate components by using equipment to clean, cut, burn, and weld pieces. Set up components in jigs and fixtures. Work with sheet metal and ductwork materials. Consistently maintains a professional demeanor and communicates respectfully and collaboratively. Follows direction, is engaged and productive, and is flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectations. Maintains punctual, regular, and reliable attendance. Demonstrates the Company's core values and complies with all Company policies and procedures. May perform other duties as assigned by management. Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
