Tig Welder (Weekend Shift)

Job Description

Shift:
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5AM-6:
PM (12 hour shift, 1 hour lunch). Work 36 hours, get paid 40 hours.
Duties:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
  • Set up welding equipment and select proper welding techniques
  • Operate hand tools such as grinders, clamps, and measuring devices
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and products
  • Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
  • TIG welding (aluminum, stainless) experience necessary.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding welding specifications
  • Experience with various hand tools used in welding processes
  • Competency in using calipers and micrometers for precise measurements
  • Basic math skills for calculations related to welding processes
  • Understanding of schematics for proper assembly and fabrication
