July 24, 2026 : Job Summary Join our team in Glendale, AZ, a vibrant city known for its warm climate, diverse community, and thriving economy. We are seeking a skilled professional to perform welding tasks with precision and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual and automatic welding systems according to work instructions and best practices. Position and adjust fixtures, attachments, or workpieces using visual acuity, hand tools, and measuring devices. Fine-tune processes within procedural limits to meet conformance standards. Read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements. Perform pre-weld cleaning and handling of parts. Inspect hardware to ensure specifications are met through visual inspection and measuring devices. Maintain high performance levels while adhering to safety rules and requirements. Keep work area and equipment organized, clean, and free of foreign object debris (FOD). Obtain and maintain required qualifications and certifications in appropriate metals. Perform setup and troubleshooting of weld equipment. Understand general and weld-specific safety issues. Provide guidance to less experienced welders as necessary. Assist with skill development, safety, and other training of welders. Collaborate with Engineering to develop weld processes and resolve weld issues. Troubleshoot all weld equipment in a team environment to maintain operational needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 8 years of welding or related experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities. Ability to become certified to
AWS D17.1.2001.
Proficiency in reading and understanding product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements. Manual dexterity is required. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints. Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics. Effective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
