ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

: The WELDER position requires a person with previous welding experience or training from an accredited technical school. The position requires a person to read blueprints and operate metal machinery. Daily tasks include lifting materials, measuring parts to dimensions on drawings, cutting metal to the correct sizes required, vertical and horizontal welding, grinding and deburring, and operation of a forklift. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years' experience welding various metals for both structural and architectural applications. Experience with metal preparation for powder coating operations is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Use welding equipment to join, cut, or shape metals
• Interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience in welding techniques

MIG, TIG

• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear
• Collaborate with team members and other trades $20.

DOE Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
