The ideal candidate has at least one year of MIG welding experience and a strong understanding of metal fabrication, fit-up, layout, and assembly. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a solid foundation in MIG welding, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow. Responsibilities MIG weld mild steel suspension components and assemblies Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CAD-generated layouts Measure, lay out, fit, and assemble parts accurately Fabricate components from drawings through finished assembly Use grinders, sanders, plasma cutters, and other hand and power tools Inspect completed work to ensure proper fit, finish, and weld quality Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Work with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality standards Troubleshoot fabrication and fit-up issues as they arise Follow proper welding and shop safety procedures Required Qualifications At least 1 year of verifiable MIG welding experience Experience welding mild steel Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings Ability to read and work from CAD-generated part layouts Experience using common hand and power tools Comfortable using grinders, sanders, and a plasma cutter Understanding of metal fabrication, fit-up, layout, and assembly Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to work effectively as part of a team Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on fabrication mindset What We're Looking For We value quality, reliability, craftsmanship, and a willingness to learn .
