Caulking Full Job Description Benefits:
401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Airtronics, a manufacturing and machine shop facility with both commercial and US Government clients has an immediate opening on its team for an experienced welder / fabricator. The right candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in welding and fabricating.
Additional requirements include:
Experience in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding of mild and alloy steels, aluminum alloys, and stainless steels Ability to read and interpret weld symbols on drawings Familiarity with military and aerospace welding specifications Perform mathematical calculations required to fabricate complex geometries Proficient in tooling, jig, and fixture design and fabrication Ability to run a manual milling machine as well as manual lathe Be able to trim, file, grind, deburr, buff and smooth surfaces Ability to weld, solder, bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk or bond component parts to assemble products Be able to operate a manual mill and lathe to build tooling Weld both vertical and horizontal plane geometry Good understanding of set up techniques Must have well rounded understanding of ferrous and nonferrous alloys Airtronics offers a complete and competitive benefits package; we are conveniently located in east Tucson and our current work hours include working only until 12:30 on Fridays.
