Uniq Steel Inc. is hiring for an experienced Welder. This position requires precision fabrication and must be competent in using equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of different types of metal and their properties. Salary pay $25/hr . This full-time position includes paid vacations.

Immediately Responsibilities Read blueprints and take measurements to plan layout and procedures Set up components and material requirements for welding & fabrication according to specifications Read and understand product schematics and assembly instructions. Verify dimensions and product specifications. Mark cutting lines on material. Ensure quality control standards are met. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements) Weld components using manual welding equipment in various tubes and plates Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) preferred not required Architectural guardrail and handrail experience are a plus. Proven experience as a welder (1-2 years of experience, Certificates) Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, etc.) and machine shop equipment (cutoffs saws, mills, lathes, auto benders, etc.) Have reliable transportation to and from the job-site Enjoy working outside, in all weather conditions Be able to lift and carry 100-150 pounds Be physically agile and able to work in tight spaces, different heights and temperatures Be responsible, accountable, dedicated, punctual, professional and dependable Be able to operate under pressure Great attitude along with problem solving skills We at Uniq Steel Inc. do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender expression/identity, genetic information, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, race, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
