As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling components for tortilla machinery, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and durability. Responsibilities Prepare materials, measure, cut, shape and clean metal surfaces using saws, grinders or torches. Read blueprints, study technical drawings, schematics and weld symbols to plan projects. Perform welding, operate MIG, TIG, FCAW, stick or arc welding equipment in flat, vertical or overhead positions. Inspect and test, check finished welds for flaws, accuracy and compliance with project tolerances. Maintain safety, follow strict safety protocols, wear protective gear and keep equipment clean. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently. Requirements Proficiency with welding processes (MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick) and proven experience as a welder with expertise in various welding techniques. Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long hours and work in awkward postures. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Knowledge in Welding Steel, Aluminum and Stainless Steel. Basic knowledge of machining processes is beneficial but not required. Ability to operate forklifts safely is an advantage.
