Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in various welding techniques and fabrication processes will contribute to delivering high-quality products for diverse industrial applications. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately guide welding and assembly processes Perform welding using various techniques including MIG, TIG, and Pulse Measure and mark metal materials using a tape measure, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precise cuts and fits Operate power tools, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene, shear and press brake for cutting, shaping, and finishing sheet metal and other metal materials Fabricate components by cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and assembling metal parts according to specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials on construction sites or in fabrication shops Collaborate and communicate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality standards are upheld throughout the fabrication process Be able to lift at least 50lbs Skills Experience in a shop preferred Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints with accuracy Knowledge of welding techniques including Pulse, MIG, TIG, and gas metal arc welding Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measure, and other precision tools effectively Mechanical knowledge of metal materials, sheet metal fabrication, assembly processes, and machining operations Familiarity with safety protocols related to welding and fabrication activities within manufacturing facilities Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and oxy-acetylene torch Capable of performing shop math calculations necessary for precise measurements and cuts Experience reading technical drawings and interpreting mechanical blueprints for accurate fabrication work Join our team to bring your craftsmanship to life!
