Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will help ensure the production of high-quality metal structures and parts, adhering to safety standards and project deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects, utilizing a variety of welding techniques and hand tools to bring designs to life with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to determine project requirements. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials such as sheet metal and structural steel using power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment. Perform various welding processes including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and stick welding to join metals securely. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accurate fabrication according to specifications. Operate cranes and other lifting equipment safely for handling heavy materials during fabrication and assembly. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and AWS (American Welding Society) guidelines throughout all tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while inspecting finished products for quality control before delivery or installation. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction sites or in fabrication shops with metal materials. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and shop math for precise measurements. Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding. Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, machining equipment, and assembly fixtures safely. Mechanical knowledge related to metal fabrication processes and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Experience with sheet metal fabrication, plasma cutting, machining operations, and assembly procedures. Understanding of safety protocols related to welding environments and construction sites. Excellent mechanical aptitude combined with strong attention to detail; basic math skills are essential for precise measurements. Pay:
