The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with a strong ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a commitment to quality and safety while working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments. Duties Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and ductwork. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to ensure accurate fabrication. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for assembly and fabrication tasks. Conduct pipe threading and rigging operations as needed for project requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications. Skills Construction site experience is highly desirable. Proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and various fabrication techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and equipment such as forklifts and cranes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Experience in manufacturing processes including soldering, machining, and assembly.
