The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety protocols, ensuring high-quality standards in all projects. This role requires precision and attention to detail as you will work with a variety of materials and welding processes. You'll be involved in fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and products, which are essential to our warehousing operations. Responsibilities Perform welding duties on various metal structures according to specifications. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all welding tasks. Inspect and assess welded joints for quality and technique accuracy. Maintain equipment and tools in optimal working condition through regular upkeep. Collaborate with team members to fabricate and assemble components for warehouse operations. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to complete projects as required. Document work processes and report any discrepancies or repair needs promptly. Requirements Proven experience as a welder in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively. Strong knowledge of safety practices and protocols associated with welding. Good physical condition and manual dexterity for handling tools and materials. Certification in welding from a recognized institution is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
Hours:
5:30a-3:00p Monday-Thursday 5:30a-2:00p Friday Some Saturdays depending on productionPay:
