Job Description
NOW HIRING CLASS A STRUCTURAL WELDERS - OT AND COMPETITIVE PAY OFFERED - START ASAP
$34/hr. Job Description Perform FCAW welding using 1/16 wire on structural steel and plate assemblies. Complete multi-pass fillet welds on thick materials to specification. Execute back gouging and air carbon arc gouging to ensure full penetration welds. Work off blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings for complex assemblies. Assist with the fabrication of large storage tanks, vessels, structural frames, and modular steel systems. Responsibilities Perform FCAW welding on structural steel and plate assemblies. Assist with fabrication of large storage tanks, vessels, structural frames, and modular steel systems. Essential Skills Strong experience with FCAW welding (1/16 wire). Ability to pass a fillet weld test - xray and bend test. Experience with back gouge and air arc required. Structural steel welding experience required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with tanks, bridges, pressure vessels, and vessels. D1.1 and D1.5 certifications are beneficial. Erecting experience is a plus, but not required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gibsonton, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
