Purpose Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of welding procedures in the manufacturing of parts that are used in assembling water-cleaning equipment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must demonstrate proficiency in all Welder I job requirements.
• Performs GMAW and Pulse Spray Arc and limited Tig welding as required.
• Able to build some prototypes using engineering drawings with no fixturing.
• Maintains clean work area.
• Responsible for making the highest quality parts per blueprint(s).
• Check first and last work piece and periodically checks parts for accuracy per work order.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education High school education or equivalent. Trade school graduate and MIG/TIG welding experience preferred and weld test given to applicants. Experience 3 years of related experience is required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Retains information well.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Possesses good hand-eye coordination.
• Possesses basic computer skills.
• Able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Language Skills Ability to read, writes, and understands basic English Mathematical Skills The ability to comprehend basic high school math which includes multiplication, division and trigonometry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Able to bend, twist, push, pull, lift a minumim of 25 pounds repeatly. Able to work in warm climate between 80 - 100 degrees during shift.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works in a warehouse/manufacturing environment that can be noisy and dusty.
