DOE (Depending on Experience) About the Role We're looking for an entry-level welder who takes ownership of their craft and follows safety and quality standards with discipline. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on mild steel, aluminum, or stainless steel under guidance Read basic blueprints and welding symbols to execute standard welds Inspect welds for accuracy and correct minor defects Assist with welding machine setup (voltage, wire feed speed, gas settings) Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues to senior staff Follow PPE and safety protocols; keep workstation clean and organized Work alongside Fabrication Technicians and senior welders to learn best practices Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Vocational or technical welding training 1-2 years of welding/fabrication experience Work Environment Full-time, in-person, Mon-Thu 6:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (OT as needed) Shop environment: sparks, fumes, heat, noise; PPE required Physical demands: lifting up to 50 lbs, extended standing/welding in various positions Benefits (upon direct hire): Medical, dental, vision, life/disability insurance (1st of month after 30 days); PTO; educational assistance; 401(k) with match (after 90 days)
