Welder / Fabricator / Pipe Fitter Founded in 1975, Salas O'Brien is an employee-owned engineering and professional services firm focused on achieving impact for our clients, our team, and the world. Job Summary:
Working out of our Northern Colorado facility, you will be responsible for shop and field fabrication of stainless-steel equipment & piping including but not limited to: Accurately fabricate stainless steel components from raw materials to a finished product by use of Water Jet Cutter, various finish / polishing machines and Tig welding. Be able to interpret shop prints and transfer to a finished product. Work to a high quality / finish standard as most components will be fabricated to a USDA Dairy standard. Work in conjunction with other team members to successfully accomplish fabrication tasks to meet agreed schedules. Have good math skills to calculate angles and off sets.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma (Preferred) Ability to Tig weld proficiently Open to in-house training Ability to drive a forklift Qualifications Clean driving record (Preferred) Self-starter Detail oriented
Work Environment:
Will depend on position, Shop associates will be 90% in the shop while field associates will be 90% field.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Location:
Northern Colorado Travel:
Up to 10% some travel will be required to support tight deadline project and continuity of a project that moves from a shop to the end users facility
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base Pay range for this role is $21.00 - $40 USD per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
