We are seeking a skilled Welder responsible for performing high-quality welds on a variety of metal components according to specifications and project requirements. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Set up welding machines based on job specifications.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals.
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with quality standards.
- Operate hand tools, grinders, and cutting equipment as needed.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or safety hazards.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Technical training or certification in welding preferred.
- 1-3 years of welding experience (manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred)/
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.).
- Ability to perform quality welds in multiple positions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must pass a weld test prior to employment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Indoor manufacturing/workshop setting.
- Exposure to noise, grease, and other typical conditions of a mechanical assembly environment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
