A G6 welding certificate is preferred as well as strong mechanical knowledge and proficientcy in various welding techniques. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in building mechanical systems, fabricating metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Wages can vary depending on experience. Normal work shift is Monday

  • 10's with overtime as needed. Responsibilities Perform primarily
  • mig welding
  • secondary stick welding and other welding techniques to assemble and fabricate metal components.
Utilize hand tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, calipers, and cranes to complete projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications. Build ductwork systems according to design requirements. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications. Requirements G6 welding certificate is preferred. Proven welding experience, with proficiency in mig welding being essential. Strong fabrication knowledge and the ability to operate hand tools effectively. Experience in plasma cutting and the use of measuring tools. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication. Ability to rig materials safely for lifting and moving during the construction process. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
