Job Description

Cleveland Mixer is a manufacturer of engineered industrial equipment. We have an immediate opening for an experienced welder/fabricator in TIG and MIG processes . Qualifications
TIG & MIG
welding experience of at least 3 years is strongly preferred (the work is mostly TIG with some MIG). Experience in fabricating, grinding and polishing is a plus. Have the ability to read blueprints, understand layouts, and the means of manufacture. Functional knowledge of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, and sanders in the setup and fitting for welding. Must hold certifications or be willing to obtain certifications (company paid) for carbon steel, 300 series stainless, duplex alloys, and high nickel alloys. Be able to weld and fabricate a multitude of different assemblies. Work well with others and be a team player. Able to communicate with management & engineering associates to optimize welding strength and corrosion resistance. Responsibilities Setup, layout, and weld components & sub assemblies. Coordinate with the machine shop and the engineering department to properly sequence the operation. Coordinate and schedule welding operations with machining and assembly team leaders. Provide technical assistance on planning and estimating welding and fabrication time. While welding and fabricating is the primary responsibility, you will be trained to operate milling machine, press brake, shear and polishers/sanders. These activities will be to support the overall production effort. Complete training on the operation and set up of this equipment will be provided to you in a systematic and thorough manner.
