Howden's core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling and have over a century of experiences in doing so. We are currently seeking an experienced Welder based at our Windsor, CT location. What Will You Do? Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions Perform TIG and MIG welding on a daily basis Reviews blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum and stainless steel Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… Standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and walking production floor, must be able to lift up to 25lbs. Use a computer Your Experience Should Be... High School diploma or GED. 3 plus years of welding experience Ability to lift up to 25lbs Must possess mechanical aptitude Current and valid certification a plus Ability to work overtime as needed Our Benefits Package...
