Welder Job Description We are seeking a Welder to join our team and perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies. This position is ideal for experienced welders as well as recent graduates of accredited welding programs who are eager to develop their skills in a production and fabrication environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality and safety, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications. Responsibilities
+ Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel materials according to specifications and quality standards.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and welding procedures.
+ Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting machine settings as needed.
+ Prepare materials for welding through cleaning, grinding, fitting, and positioning.
+ Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and conformance to quality requirements.
+ Use measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety policies.
+ Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and report any operational issues.
+ Collaborate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to meet project deadlines.
+ Assist with additional fabrication and assembly tasks as needed. Essential Skills
+ Ability to perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Knowledge of welding safety procedures and proper PPE usage. Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Formal welding education, technical training, or completion of a welding certification program.
+ Prior manufacturing, fabrication, or production welding experience.
+ AWS certifications or other welding certifications are a plus.
+ Experience welding thin-gauge stainless steel materials.
+ Familiarity with fabrication tools, grinders, saws, and measuring instruments. Why Work Here?
