Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Aluminum Mechanic with expertise in MIG and TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on aluminum, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with the production team to meet customer specifications and deadlines. Position is full-time days working 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime as needed. Pay commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals. Read and interpret blueprints and work orders. Prioritize welding tasks in coordination with management. Operate welding equipment and other various tools safely and effectively. Use tape measures, angle finders, and fixtures to ensure precision in assembly. Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Produce consistent, non-porous welds that meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, processes, and industry codes. Proficient in welding equipment and other related equipment. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints. Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and overtime as needed. Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Positive attitude, hard-worker, self-motivation and works well with others.
