You'll be responsible for welding, fabricating, repairing, and modifying equipment, machinery, and structural components that keep production running efficiently. This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship, problem-solving, and helping maintain a safe, productive operation. What You'll Do Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication of steel, aluminum, and other metals Repair and modify conveyors, screens, hoppers, bins, and production equipment Fabricate parts and structures from concepts, drawings, and specifications Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc welders Use plasma cutters, torches, hand tools, and power tools Repair and reinforce industrial equipment to minimize downtime Assist with machinery installations and facility improvement projects Follow all safety procedures, hot-work requirements, and PPE guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support maintenance and production teams as needed Why Join McGill? Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous welding and fabrication experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or production environment Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc welding preferred Ability to read drawings, sketches, and specifications Experience using fabrication tools, plasma cutters, torches, and power tools Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation to the Delray Beach facility Strong commitment to safety and quality Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the workday Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Frequent use of hands, arms, and repetitive motion activities Ability to work around moving machinery and industrial equipment Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions Ability to work around noise, fumes, airborne particles, dust, mud, and uneven terrain What Makes Someone Successful at McGill?
