Job Description

Fabricator (Metal Welder)

Shift/Hours:

Monday•Friday (

First Shift:

8:00 AM•5:00 PM)

Pay Range:

$19.00•$23.00 / hour (DOE)

Location:

Fort Myers, FL Responsibilities & Requirements Join, shape, and construct steel and aluminum assemblies (MIG/TIG) following complex architectural blueprints and technical drafts. Decipher fabrication diagrams, structural plans, and material callouts to execute bespoke builds. Assess raw stock and select optimal fit-up strategies, heat settings, and tooling layouts for each job. Execute clean cuts, precise joints, and durable welds independently with strong self-direction. Audit completed assemblies for penetration, dimensional accuracy, seamless finish, and load-bearing strength. Maintain strict safety protocols while using shop tools, including angle grinders, band saws, hydraulic presses, and ironworkers. Proven track record in structural welding or custom sheet metal fabrication within a production facility or trade shop. AWS certification or trade school credential strongly favored, though hands-on expertise is prioritized. Benefits of working with
