  MIG/ FLux Welder
• Job Description
• Performed MIG and Flux Core welding on steel components used in generator unit fabrication and assembly.

Read and interpreted basic blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate weld placement and assembly. Prepared materials for welding by measuring, cutting, grinding, and fitting metal components. Assisted in the fabrication of generator frames, enclosures, fuel tanks, and support structures. Inspected completed welds for strength, quality, and compliance with company standards. Operated welding equipment, plasma cutters, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently. Maintained a clean and organized work area while following all safety regulations and PPE requirements. Utilized measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Worked closely with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production schedules and quality expectations. Performed routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment to minimize downtime. Assisted with material handling, positioning, and movement of large generator components using cranes and forklifts when certified. Ensured all finished products met customer specifications and company quality standards.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $22.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
