WELDER/FABRICATION WELDER / FABRICATOR

Schedule:

Day Shift, typically 5:00 AM-4:00 PM (8-10 hours)

Flexible Start Time:

5:00-7:00

WELDER/FABRICATION

Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $19.00 /hour Part Time work available Weekend work required First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 04:00pm)

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Verify materials against prints and job requirements.

Prepare materials with light grinding, beveling, and cleaning as needed.

Read and work from shop prints, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, jigs, and fixtures.

Measure and pull accurate dimensions using a tape measure.

Lay out, fit, tack, square, and weld fabricated components.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience.

Minimum 1 year of welding experience.

Proven combination welder/fitter experience.

Ability to take a project from print to completed weldment.

Ability to read shop prints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.

Strong measuring and layout skills.

Experience fitting, tacking, and welding using jigs and fixtures.
