Land O' Lakes, FL 34638 About the Opportunity We are looking for experienced Fabricators and MIG Welders to join a well-equipped fabrication shop supporting civil construction and heavy equipment operations. We are open to different experience levels. If you're a solid welder who wants to weld and fabricate every day , we want to talk to you. If you're an experienced fabricator who can take raw material, measurements, drawings, or an idea and turn it into a finished part or tool , we definitely want to talk to you. And if you're the person who knows the shop from top to bottom, can fabricate, weld, troubleshoot, organize work, and lead other people , there is an opportunity for that as well. What You'll Be Doing MIG welding and general fabrication Cutting, fitting, measuring, and laying out material Fabricating and repairing parts, tools, brackets, components, and equipment used in civil construction Working with steel and other materials using shop fabrication equipment Reading measurements, drawings, prints, and specifications Repairing and modifying existing equipment and components Building one-off parts and solutions when field or shop operations need them Maintaining quality, organization, and safe work practices What We're Looking For Strong MIG welding skills Fabrication experience in a shop environment Proficient with a torch and common fabrication tools Able to measure, cut, fit, and assemble accurately Comfortable working independently and solving problems Able to produce quality work without constant supervision Civil construction, heavy equipment, industrial, structural, or equipment-repair experience is a plus Experienced Fabricators / Leaders For higher-level candidates, we're especially interested in people who can: Take a project from concept or drawing through finished fabrication Determine the best way to build or repair something Set up and operate multiple pieces of shop equipment Troubleshoot fabrication and welding problems Help organize workflow and priorities Train or guide less-experienced employees Take ownership of the shop and help lead day-to-day fabrication operations You do not need to be a supervisor to apply. We are interested in strong hands-on fabricators and welders as well as experienced shop leaders. If you know your way around a fabrication shop and take pride in building things correctly, we'd like to hear from you.

Can you take raw steel and build a finished part from a drawing, measurements, or a sample—including measuring, laying out, cutting, fitting, tacking, and welding it? Are you proficient using a cutting torch and common fabrication-shop equipment? List the equipment and tools you can confidently operate. This shop supports a civil construction and heavy-equipment operation. Work may include building or repairing tools, brackets, equipment parts, and one-off items rather than welding the same thing every day. Are you comfortable figuring out how to build or repair something when there isn't always a step-by-step procedure? Have you ever led a fabrication shop or crew, assigned work, trained other welders/fabricators, or taken responsibility for a project from start to finish? If yes, briefly explain.
