Job Summary We are looking for experienced 6G Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, experience working in the 6G position, and the ability to pass a welding test. Candidates should be comfortable working in different positions and following safety and quality standards.
Per Diem:
$50 per day Responsibilities Perform welding in the 6G position on pipe and/or structural materials. Read and understand blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and correctly. Perform quality welds while meeting project specifications. Inspect completed welds for defects and make necessary repairs. Use proper welding techniques based on the material and project requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines. Work effectively with other welders, fitters, and job-site personnel. Requirements 3+ years of welding experience preferred. Proven experience welding in the 6G position . Ability to pass a 6G welding test . Experience with SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux Core), and/or GTAW (TIG) preferred. Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols. Must have your own basic welding tools and PPE as required. Ability to work in different positions and environments. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Must be able to work safely and follow job-site instructions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in awkward positions for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and industrial environments. Must be able to wear required PPE for the duration of the shift. Why Work With Us?
