Job Description

Note - The pay for this position is starting at $20 per hour, but eligible for an increase after probation. We are a drug free workplace - All conditional offers are pending passing a background check and drug test that includes marijuana.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This hands-on position involves cutting and processing steel components, as well as assembly through welding and the use of shop equipment and hand tools. Work will be performed both in our fabrication shop and on Del Zotto Property in various locations around the Plant. Candidates must have a strong understanding of welding techniques, safety practices, and fabrication tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and stick (arc) welding, including setting up machines appropriately. Use basic shop equipment and hand tools to complete fabrication tasks. Operate oxy/acetylene torch and plasma cutter for material cutting. Maintain clean and organized work areas, including tools and welding machines. Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job welding and fabrication experience. Proficient in MIG and stick welding, including machine setup. Skilled in using hand tools and basic fabrication shop equipment. Capable of using oxy/acetylene torch and plasma cutting equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience is a plus but not required: Operating overhead hoists and bridge cranes. Working from scissor lifts and/or aerial man lifts. Operating a plate shear and press brake. Welding aluminum using a spool gun. Able to load and operate a CNC Plasma cutting table. Able to perform simple operations on a metal lathe. Able to operate a drill/mill machine.
