In this role, you will be responsible for welding various components and structures, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Responsibilities Perform welding operations on aerospace components using various techniques, including TIG and MIG welding. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. Inspect and test welded joints to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of welding activities. Continuously improve skills and knowledge of welding techniques and aerospace materials. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred. Proven experience as a welder in the aerospace industry or a related field. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
