to be a certified welder, although this would be arranged as the job grows. Use multiple welding machines to repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes. Welders must be able to read and or interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects. Welders set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment. They understand and implement personal and company safety measures by wearing specialized goggles, helmets, and gloves. Tig welding on Stainless steel pipe is a PLUS. Out-of-state travel might be part of the job for up to three (3) weeks at a time, travel is normally no more than 4 - 5 times a year. To be a Welder for AEA, an applicant will need shop environment experience, a sharp eye for detail and strict adherence to safety. A valid Driver's license plus.

The ideal candidate will have a background in welding, fabrication, and construction, and will be willing to work on-site as well as in-house to complete jobs for customers on time and on budget. Some projects might require short-term traveling, such as two to three weeks, we pay all travel expenses, travel time, including lodging and cash per diem. Responsibilities and duties Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand. Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on project needs both at shop and in the field. Coordinate with Management and other crew members for efficient installations. Conserve resources whenever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction. • Qualifications and skills Valid driver's license with minimum history of traffic offences High school diploma/GED preferred. 2+ years' experience operating as a commercial welder. Current and valid certifications a plus Experience working in fabrication shop and on construction sites.
