Job Description
Welder/Fabricator We are looking for experienced high-end Welder/Fabricators to join our growing team. Superior Spiral Stairs has been around the building materials industry for over 20 years! As an established company in the industry we provide high quality parts to contractors, home builders, installers, and do it yourself homeowners for custom work to everyday parts and projects. The welder in this role will fabricate a variety of structures made primarily of aluminum metal. The applications we specialize in are railings, fencing, and staircases (straight and spiral). Our projects are specific and one-of-a-kind to our clients. We strive to deliver flawless high-end products. Responsibilities and requirements for the position: Weekly meetings with Shop Supervisor to go over schedule and workflow Work as a team on all aspects of the project from start to finish Focus on quality to ensure it meets Company standards Fabricate custom ornamental projects based on customer's vision The ability to read and interpret measurements of blueprints to weld, cut, grind and fit metal parts mirroring architectural drawings Utilizing Tig welding techniques to fuse together parts to ensure the geometry stays true to design Extensive welding knowledge is crucial to keep project true to the blueprint specs Detailing, grinding, and sanding project ready for coating process (powder coat or paint) Complete installation of products on premises (required) Experience in fabricating and welding high end custom projects (required) TIG Welding experience with Aluminum (required) Experienced with Aluminum fencing, staircases, and railings (preferred) Certified Welder (preferred) Industrial mathematics and basic geometry (required) Highly proficient in reading layouts and blueprints (required) Can perform heavy lifting on a regular basis Craftsman that is detail oriented High school diploma/GED If you feel that you are great fit for this Welder/Fabrication position, please feel free to contact us direct at 941.922.8846 ext 102
