MIG & TIG
welder will fit and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal parts using a MIG/TIG/FLUX and/or Stick process. Responsibilities Must be able to pass a 3G weld test (Required) Joins and repairs metal and other welding materials using appropriate welding techniques:
MIG/TIG/STICK/FLUX
Utilizes measuring equipment such as tape measures, rulers, calipers, micrometers to ensure quality work Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on materials or workpiece as guides for welding Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to blueprint specifications, using precision measuring instruments Operates and observes to detect malfunctions or non-conforming conditions and adjusts machine controls as required Experience Must pass a 3G weld test.
TIG welding:
5 years.
MIG welding:
5 years.
Sheet Metal:
3 years.
Fabrication:
3 years. Welding Certification.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience Proficiency in welding
Environment:
Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery. Use of PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, is required. May involve repetitive tasks and physical activity throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50lbs., and perform repetitive motions. Frequent bending, reaching, and manual handling of sheet metal materials. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Pay:
$30.00 per hour
