The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects requiring precision and expertise in a dynamic environment. Duties Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and welding on structural steel, sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and other materials following blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret detailed technical drawings, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to execute fabrication and assembly tasks accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble components. Conduct rigging, crane operation assistance, pipe threading, soldering, machining, and plasma cutting as needed for various projects. Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction sites and manufacturing facilities. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, fabrication processes, and project completion while ensuring quality control. Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks including the use of basic math for measurements and calculations required for welding projects.
