#carga We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator with a strong background in metal fabrication, welding, laser cutting, machine shop operations, and mechanical repair. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with metal components, interpreting measurements and specifications, and repairing or modifying metal automotive parts. This position requires someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with a variety of fabrication and metalworking equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and/or other welding processes as required. Fabricate, modify, and repair metal components according to specifications. Operate and assist with laser cutting equipment used to cut metal parts and components. Perform repairs and modifications to metal automotive parts and components . Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and various shop equipment. Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, bending, and finishing of metal parts. Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality, accuracy, and proper fit. Troubleshoot mechanical and fabrication issues and determine appropriate repair methods. Apply strong machine shop and mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment or part issues. Set up and operate fabrication and machining equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or similar manufacturing position . Hands-on welding and metal fabrication experience required. Experience with laser cutting of metal strongly preferred. Experience repairing or fabricating automotive metal parts preferred. Strong mechanical and machine shop knowledge. Ability to read measurements and use precision measuring tools. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and fabrication problems. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.

Automotive manufacturing or metal fabrication Welding and fabrication Laser cutting equipment Machine shop operations Mechanical repair and troubleshooting Metal part repair and modification Blueprint/technical drawing interpretation Use of calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring tools Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required. Ability to work with metal components and manufacturing equipment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work safely in a manufacturing/shop environment

Schedule:

1st shift, 7am to 4pm Mon-Fri- OT as needed
