Savannah Tank & Equipment is hiring 4-6 experienced Welder/Fabricators for true ASME code work. Relocation assistance available — out-of-town candidates can submit a video weld test.

Pay and Benefits:

Savannah Responsibilities:

Manufacture and fabricate steel tanks, pressure vessels, and/or components Follow blueprints and company procedures to meet product specifications Calculate material measurements to verify specifications

Qualifications:

Previous experience in welding and metal fabrication (5+ years required) Experience with MIG and Flux Core welding in stainless and carbon steels. TIG and Sub-Arc experience also relevant. Solid familiarity with welding equipment, procedures, and symbols Must pass company weld test. For candidates currently living more than 50 miles from Savannah, a video weld test may be submitted. Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math involving fractions and degrees Ability to accurately read tape measure, blueprints and schematics Ability to handle physical workload including ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
