Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, fabrication shop tasks, and custom metalwork. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of metal materials and fabrication techniques in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship. Duties Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal materials using plasma cutters, power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment Fabricate ductwork, structural steel, and custom metal parts for diverse projects in accordance with ASME codes & standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and handling equipment properly Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring quality control throughout the fabrication process Experience Proven experience working on construction sites or in fabrication shops involving metal fabrication and welding operations Familiarity with welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding in accordance with industry standards Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding, machining, plasma cutting, and working with various metal materials Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, ASME codes & standards, and basic shop math skills Join us if you're passionate about metal fabrication and eager to contribute your skills within a safety-conscious environment that values craftsmanship.
