Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld metal components according specifications
- Operate various tools and equipment
- Build and assemble metal bins and other structures using welding techniques
- Perform machining operations to prepare materials for fabrication
- Rig and position large metal pieces for welding
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Paint finished products
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools for precise measurements
- Experience with plasma cutting and other metal cutting methods
- Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in fabrication work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
