Job Description
Factor Fabrication is seeking an experienced steel fabricator who can demonstrate precision welding skills. We build steel staircases and railings, furniture, and other custom pieces for residential and commercial projects. Read more about our company at factorfabrication.com. Must have a minimum two years welding experience. Carpentry skills a major plus. Experience fabricating/welding staircases and stair railings a major plus. Pay rate is contingent upon skills and experience level. Must be able to read and use a tape measure and blueprints. Must have experience around a shop and job sites, as well as a working knowledge of all basic hand tools, power tools, and MIG and TIG welding equipment. Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds. A welding test will be required upon interview. Attendance, punctuality, and excellent customer service are crucial. Reliable personal transportation required. Valid Iowa driver's license required.
